A Midsummer Night’s Dream – by William Shakespeare in a version for four actors

The drama about the four young lovers, who are messed about by the quarrelsome fairy king and queen, is undoubtedly one of Shakespeare’s strongest and most beloved plays. Just four actors bring A Midsummer Night’s Dream to life in a fresh way—out of a hat, or rather, out of a suitcase. With minimal props and costume pieces, the quartet embraces the motto “low on materials, high on imagination,” swiftly switching between characters and scenes. They draw the audience into Shakespeare’s midsummer worlds of light and shadow, where humor and dreams magically merge.
